FAQ

  • Training sessions are held at Redeemer Lutheran School and The REX. Training times are set by age group and team and will be communicated before the start of each season

  • Games are player at The REX Tanunda . The exact schedule is provided by the Barossa Valley Basketball Association before each season begins.

  • All players MUST wear the Magic Basketball Club uniform, which includes a singlet and plain black shorts (either your own or Magic branded). Playing tops are available EXCLUSIVELY ONLINE Through [Prime –LINK COMING ASAP . These are express shipped directly to your home once purchased. Please check out the store for other Magic merchandise. 

  • The South Australian Government’s Sports Voucher program provides each eligible child with a $100 discount on fees twice a year for players in Year 9 and below. To claim, simply complete the Sports Voucher Claim Form on this website. The claim period opens for a set time at the beginning of each season, and families will be notified via email when it is available.

  • Weekly game fees are $7.59 for each junior player and $66.00 per senior game (shared between players on the night). Payments are managed by your team manager through the TeamPay app and are separate from your registration fee.

    TeamPay for Players/Parents - At the beginning of the season, you will be asked to download the TeamPay app. You will then be given a code to enter for your team so the team manager can process the game fee each week. See the instructions to download here. [see the PDF attached]

  • Age groups are determined by year of birth and align with Basketball SA/Association guidelines. The club will confirm the right age division during registration.

  • Yes, registration confirms your commitment to the team for the season. This helps us finalise teams, fixtures, and coaches. If circumstances change, please contact the club as soon as possible to discuss options.

  • Absolutely! Our club relies on the support of parents and volunteers. Please let us know at registration if you’re interested, or reach out to a committee member anytime by emailing barossamagicbasketball@gmail.com.
